Day 1: Julius Nyerere International Airport – Southern Sun Dar es Salaam

Arrive at JNKI, meet, and greet with our driver then you will be transferred to Southern Sun Dar es Salaam for overnight on Bed and breakfast.

Overview of Southern Sun Dar

The lodge is located in the city center of Dar es Salaam near the Botanical Gardens. The hotel rooms are perfect for a safari traveller stop over and you rooms have a nice view of the historical Botanical Gardens or the city.

Day 2: Southern – Dar airport – Roho ya Selous Camp, Nyerere National Pak (former Selous Game Reserve)

Early morning you will be transferred from Southern Sun to Dar airport for flight to Nyerere National Park.  One of Africa’s greatest National Park. Upo arrival you will meet our guide and transfer you to Roho ya Selous Camp 3 nights stay on full board basis.

Overview of Roho ya Selous

The camp is located in the heart of Selous Game Reserve (Now called Nyerere National Park). Roho ya Selous is into a shady grove of trees. Close to the northern end of Lake Nzerakera. The camp has eight spacious tented rooms. All have shade netting over the main canvas, and during the evening there is nice breeze cooling over the beds keep you cool and comfortable even in the hot season. There is a swimming pool and camp have wide area for relaxation during the siesta time or with a drink chatting to other guests after dinner. On this day you will also have a boat safari on the Rufiji River.

Day 3 & 4: Overnight at Roho ya Selous Game reserve

Today you will wake up in morning for a walking safari. Walking safari in morning is always good for making great photography opportunities as you will see track of wildlife that have come near camp. Boat safari can be arranged in morning or afternoon, watching wildlife come to the river edge to drink and you will see hippo and crocodiles.

You will enjoy game drive are the best way to see some sizable game including the predators. The Nyerere National Park (former Selous Game reserve is home to the largest populations of wild dog in Africa.

Day 5: Overnight at Jabali Ridge, Ruaha National Park

After breakfast depart with your guide to Siwandu Airstrip for flight to Msembe Airstrip in Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival you will meet and greet with our driver guide then drive you to Jabali Ridge via game drive en-route. In the afternoon you will have hot lunch at the camp and could relax and acclimatise the area. Later afternoon either relax at the camp or have a short game drive. In the evening you will be back at the camp for dinner.

Day 6 & 7: Overnight at Jabali Ridge, Ruaha National Park

We always give suggestion to our clients or give them different options with regards to how your day is structured. The walking safari is great way to start the day, departing early morning and exploring the environment on equal footing as the wildlife. You can either have morning game drive with breakfast box from the camp or delious breakfast to be enjoyed in camp before game drive. Full day game driver with lunch box or coming back at camp for afternoon hot lunch

Day 8: Departure

Today unfortunately will be you last day, you depart in afternoon or morning from Msembe Airstrip to Dar es Salaam for connection for international flight back home. Upon arrive at Dar es Salaam you will me our rep then he will transfer you to the international airport. End of our services.
